Welcome!!
My name is Scarlett Steele and I will be your
child’s 1st grade teacher. I
am so excited about this school year! I know we will have an incredible year
filled with many wonderful experiences.
I am a proud graduate of Baylor
University and have been teaching for 18 years.
My passion is working with children and helping them be and feel
successful. One of my goals is to create
a positive and nurturing environment in which all children can succeed.
My husband and I have known each
other for 27 years and married for 17 of those years. We have 2 children named Kaden and
Kalliann. Kaden is 15 years old and will
begin his sophmore year at Round Rock High School. He is a lover of reading, music, and gaming. Kalliann is 13 years old and beginning her 8th grade year at Walsh. Dancing, being a good friend, and music are just a few of her favorites. I am
very excited to have both my children so close to me and at such wonderful
schools.
My family is a lover of animals! We have a lab named Chewy, a terrier mix
named Oliver, and SIX cats named Bad Kitty Bootsie, Annie, Feona (FiFi), Brutus, Kinky and Baby Shadow. Baby Shadow is the newest baby of our family at just a few months old. We are very smitten with him right now as he is quite the kitty! Chewy is our CRAZY, CRAZY....did I
mention CRAZY puppy who keeps us VERY busy!! I seem to attract stray animals of all
kinds, so my husband has currently capped us off at EIGHT! As you can see, there is never a dull moment
in our household.
I am looking forward to working
with you and happy to have the opportunity to get to know your families. I appreciate all of the time, effort, and
support you will offer this year as we work together to provide our children
with the best learning experience possible.
